Beat Runner

Terms of use

Beat Runner is a free browser game published by Quodara. Using it means accepting the terms below. They are short because the game is simple: it takes no payment, creates no account, and holds none of your data. Last updated August 22, 2026.

1. What you may do

Play as much as you like, on any device, for personal or classroom use, at no cost. You may link to this page freely, record and stream your own play, and use screenshots in reviews or articles. No permission or registration is required.

2. The bundled music

Neon Overdrive and Midnight Coastline are original instrumental pieces written for this game and generated in your browser from arrangement data. They are provided for use inside Beat Runner. If you want to use them elsewhere, ask first through quodara-ai.com.

3. Audio you load yourself

You keep every right you had in a file you load, and you grant us nothing, because the file never reaches us. It is decoded and analyzed entirely inside your browser and is discarded when you close the tab. You are responsible for only loading audio you have the right to play, and you should not publicly stream copyrighted music you do not have rights to just because this game can chart it.

4. No warranty

Beat Runner is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Browsers differ in how they schedule audio; timing accuracy is not guaranteed, and neither is availability of this site.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quodara is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this game. Because the game is free and stores nothing on our side, the practical exposure on both sides is your saved scores, which live only in your own browser.

6. Photosensitivity

The visuals pulse with the music. Flashing is deliberately rate-limited to below three flashes per second, and enabling your operating system's reduce-motion setting removes the pulsing, the hue drift and the particle bursts entirely. If you are sensitive to flashing imagery, turn that setting on before playing.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated when the game changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current build.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
